Two people create a baby. Two people become parents.
They should both have a choice in how they rear their child.

Companies continue to just offer maternity pay and leave to women and only two weeks paternity leave to men even though in 2015 the government introduced ’Shared Parental Leave and Pay’.

This in turn causes prejudice against women of childbearing age as they are seen as risky hires. While men who would like to be stay at home parents are not being taken seriously.

Giving parents equal parental options empowers them to decide how they want to balance their childcare responsibilities.

In turn enabling parents to #ShareBaby is a key step towards achieving equality in the workplace and beyond.
