If you’re not a child’s parent, it’s not a good idea to try and discipline them. It’s often tempting to get involved in other people’s private conversations, lives, and problems. However, interrupting or entangling yourself with personal dramas that don’t directly affect you can be both unhelpful to the parties concerned and damaging to your own mental health.
Start by drawing a circle and writing those who are directly involved in the situation in the center. Then, draw another ring for those people who are most affected by the issue. Keep drawing outer circles like ripples for each level of people affected, and see where you fall on the chart. Often times people become so preoccupied with the opinions of others that it limits their potential in any given situation. Suddenly we feel a bit out of place and try to tone it down with casual body language.
If any situation doesn’t involve you, instead of getting in the middle or putting your two cents in, you should mind your own business. If a situation concerns you or you have experienced something of a similar nature, then it’s time to stand up and to talk. The phrase ‘mind your own business’ is pretty self explanatory. Keep in mind that some people that are nosey and into your business like your friends or family might only be in your business because they care about you and your well-being.
Fact is, competition exists in every field, and it’s a good and healthy thing. We need competition in our industry in order to grow, get better, and constantly adapt to changing needs and demands of a given market. Rather than try to think and feel for others, show them balance and creative power. Mind your own business and uplift from your position of clarity and alignment. Often there is significant friction in their vibration because they are minding the business of others. To manifest what they want requires cleaning up their vibration—and that can only happen with a shift in focus.
